"That's My Hope"

Audio Book
Featuring a Gallery of Multi-generational Artwork

by Lil Ingram & Marlene Lee

That's My Hope is a audio storybook narrated by Rachel Klein-Kircher. The artwork is described chapter-by-chapter by children, parents and grandparents.

Dr. Harold Kudler of the Duke University School of Medicine, who introduces the audio version of That's My Hope in the section titled "For Parents and Professionals", says that it "opens the door to conversation, sharing, healing, and growth" among adults and children (ages 6-11) to discuss the challenges and changes families may experience as a result of traumatic injury or illness.

Adding imagery to the story itself, the original artwork of That's My Hope is vividly described in the audio edition, along with the original short vignettes called "Sharing Our Stories." Twelve child-artists and 16 adult-artists and photographers blend messages of trauma, illness, and injury -- with hope and resilience.

Hope Village and Early Light Press (www.earlylightpress.com) jointly offer the audio edition of That's My Hope in MP3 format free of charge, in recognition of the service and sacrifice of ill, injured, wounded, and deceased Veterans -- and their children and families.
